Snowy Mountains Captured is your chance to get creative, showcase your skills and share all there is to love about this incredible part of the world. Whether you are fortunate enough to call the Snowy Mountains home, or you are visiting for a short amount of time we want to see your photographs and short films!

This competition could not be easier, simply take a photo and upload it to Instagram using our hashtag. There are four photography categories: Action, Adventure, Nature and POW People's Choice, each with a chance to win. Along with an awesome photography prize, one lucky winner will feature on the cover of the Rhythm 2023 Magazine!

Short Film


Open to all ages, the short film competition is an opportunity for you to share your story and alpine adventures, whether hiking in the summer months or carving some turns in the snow. All entries must be between 1-5 minutes long and sent to snowymountainscaptured@gmail.com. Short-listed entries will have their films played at a public film screening at events in Jindabyne and Bright. Watch past entries on our YouTube channel!
